True Tears
True Tears

Shinichiro is a student living in what would be a dream come true for most high school boys, but for him is mostly a frustration. A well liked girl in school named Hiromi has lived in his house for a year along with his family. Her father was a close friend of the family, and when he died they immediately took her in. She is popular and well liked, always smiles, is talented in sports- but Shinichiro knows there must be tears inside her. Having an artistic tendency, he makes watercolours of her and thinks about wishing to ease her tears. Yet he cannot bring up the nerve to talk to her even in his own home. She, too, is quiet and withdrawn in their house, quite unlike at school. Shinichiro is also distracted by teasing from his friend Nobuse for watching Hiromi from afar, a curse of bad luck from a strange girl named Noe, and being forced to perform Muhiga dancing. By helping Noe he hopes to ease his own problems, yet he seems to have difficulty helping himself.

Just after seeing the first episode (first RAW then with subs) I decided to keep this one. Although at this time a lot of things are unclear to me, but I love Yocchin's character, and how (after watching episode 2 raw) Noe seems to think of Shinichirō as a rooster? o.O haha, or at least he's thinking that. Anyways there are parts that make me smile, and others that leave me wondering where it's all going to lead.

Tali

Chibi endings (with chickens) are win ... I especially like Noe and her chickens =3 .. It's a bit sad how one died or "flew away" ... D= But otherwise I really like it. ^_^

Lord of Arcania

Not bad, go chickens

Michael Eh?

This has it soap opera feel to high school romance. Not exactly my cup of tea since it tends the be slow moving with spending the time setting up the premise of three girls in the lead character's life.

Doug

Although I don't normally care to watch some teenager mooning over another one, it does have some value as a soporific but it would be good to see the chicken in a mask and cape. The elad character seems handy, he could make one.

humnabean

a well-crafted but fairly conventional high-school "he said-she said". it's good even if it's not my cup of tea.

heekun

Nicely animated and cute characters. definitely feels like a harem anime, complete wtih an angsty main character, a tsundere new girl, tomboyish nice friend and a child-hood crush.
