Sakamoto Tarou was once a legendary hit man considered the greatest of all time. Bad guys feared him! Assassins revered him! But then one day he quit, got married, and had a baby. He's now living the quiet life as the owner of a neighborhood store, but how long can Sakamoto enjoy his days of retirement before his past catches up to him?!

"Retired assassin is now a boring family man" is a great concept when it's done right. Unfortunately a half hour pilot is not really long enough to tell for sure; but what little I saw of the wife and daughter seemed promising.

Enjoyably silly. Character art is relatively simple, in a manga style, but items and backgrounds are well detailed.

This was more fun than I was expecting it to be. I have seen the retired badass story done before, but this was a fun twist. Going from a legendary assassin to a work a day schlub, but still managing to be a competent fighter. This has the makings of a good comedy.
