Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers
The year is 2008. Due to the emergence of a mysterious force, Japan has eliminated all forms of otaku culture, including anime, games, manga, music, railroads, and cosplay. Goods are contained, and even if otaku are oppressed in the name of protection, people do not question it as if they have lost their ego. Otaku was overrun by the SSC, an organization responsible for maintaining order, and it seemed that the otaku had perished— but then, those who recaptured the blockaded Akihabara and rebelled appeared.
A young revolutionary "Otaku Hero" --- A man who loves otaku culture more than anything else and loves Akihabara more than anyone else. And three magical girls who adore him - "Anarchy", "Blue" and "Pink". Set in Japan in 2011, the otaku who gathered under the flag of freedom-the Akiba Revolutionary Army will challenge the SSC leader "SHOBON" in a fierce battle. For the sake of a world where chaos and order can be destroyed, and people can enjoy whatever they want as much as they want. this show is trying to be a lot of things at once. Its trying to be a comedy that pays homage to other anime, while still having an overarching "bad guy" to the show, but doesnt really click for me. Im not really sure how else to put that, it just doesnt click with me.

It's Terminator 2/1984/Equilibrium/etc., but the oppressed are Otaku against THE MAN. It's... FINE. The premise has been done before, but maybe not this extreme. It is, in fact, a Magical Girl show, but it's both silly and grim at the same time. I like the characters more than the premise; you want to root for them.
