Honey Lemon Soda
Middle school left Ishimori Uka with nothing but scars—to the point where she's forgotten how to laugh or cry or even say "hello." But a chance reencounter with a boy with lemon-colored hair invigorates her, giving her hope that maybe, just maybe, life can be that much sweeter if she finally reaches out for help.

School romance dramas are dime a dozen in Japan. This at least had decent presentation of the characters and story. Still as lifeless as the main character is in this first episode, I found it a little difficult to follow.

Some interesting art design for the eyes. Nice character art, nothing too fancy. the gyaru/sukeban stand out more by comparison. sad, but sweet.

I have to say I find the cumulative trauma of everyday life (and the tricky business of overcoming it) a lot more interesting than standard "romance"; so I really wouldn't mind seeing more of this series.
