Daughter of Twenty Faces

The story revolves around a female thief named Chico, who is the spiritual successor to the Kaijin Nijū-Mensō (The Fiend with 20 Faces) thief character created by famed suspense and detective novelist Ranpo Edogawa. (Edogawa is a pen name for Tarō Hirai; when written in Japanese family-name-first order, it spells out a Japanese pun for the name of the American suspense and detective author "Edgar Allen Poe").

I like the retro look and the Robin hood and Sherlock Holmes themes are always promising.
Michael Eh?
I must admit I didn't watch this prior to showing and wasn't disappointed. Romantic look at Lupin the Third character thief and a girl looking to get out of her situation of an aunt and uncle who only cared for her due to their neice's wealth. This episode makes me want to watch the rest of the series just to see how this honor amoung thieves works out with this adoptive daughter.

I can't say anything so far. The main story has not started yet. Chico is cute but I don't like her.
