Cat's Eye
The three Kisugi sisters—Hitomi, Rui and Ai—who run a café called Cat's Eye. The sisters lead a double life as a trio of highly skilled art thieves, leaving cards with the name "Cat's Eye" at the scene of their crimes. They steal works of art that belonged to their long-missing father, Heinz who was a famous art collector during the Nazi regime, in the hopes of him contacting them. Toshio, the police officer investigating this case is the fiancé of Hitomi. He also swears to capture and bring down the Cat's Eye Gang.
Les trois sœurs Kisugi – Hitomi, Rui et Ai – tiennent un café appelé Cat's Eye. Elles mènent une double vie en tant que trois voleuses d'art hautement qualifiées, laissant des cartes au nom de « Cat's Eye » sur les lieux de leurs crimes. Elles volent des œuvres d'art ayant appartenu à leur père disparu depuis longtemps, Heinz, célèbre collectionneur d'art sous le régime nazi, dans l'espoir qu'il les contacte. I watched the original long ago, and don't really remember very much about it, but the art style seems to match what I remembered.
The show itself is basically what I would expect - catburglaries with the obvious "cop doesnt know the culprit is under his nose" cliche
This kind of story was probably a bit more unique back when it was first published, so the cliche was likely not as worn out back then
Still, I did enjoy it.

Such a wonderfully retro remake. I prefer Tsukasa Hojo's older character art style, but this isn't bad, and the animation is at a much higher level. Great music.

Old school anime is new again. They at least updated somethings but is Cat's Eye dated as a show. Still it's a blast.

The story is moderately interesting, but the character development is pretty shallow. I don't think I'll be following this one.
