Nick used to be a member of a veteran adventurer party, helping his undisciplined friends with the accounts whenever he could. But what was his reward? Typical setup for a show about 4 outcasts in fantasy world. It should get better once the group goes on it's first adventure.

not a typical isekai story, lots of mixed elements... Episode 1 is just an intro of the 4 main characters, main story hasn't started. Watch the episode and see if you like the characters.

Bright. Colorful. Costumes and props are well detailed. Character animation is a bit stilted though. More than a few scenes of static characters with offscreen discussion/exposition. A very nice looking show on a budget? The show is a bizarre anachronism of modern world culture set in a high fantasy world. Show goes in for the typical fantasy tropes like ranking, classes, power levels, Demon King, etc. Backgrounds for the party members are at least interesting in that they all have problematic histories or personal flaws. A team of misfits takinhg odd jobs, and just maybe they'll save the world, too.
