Majo to Yajuu
Ashaf: a soft-spoken man with delicate features, a coffin strapped to his back, and an entourage of black crows. Guideau: a feral, violent girl with long fangs and the eyes of a beast. This ominous pair appear one day in a town in thrall to a witch - a ruler with magic coursing through her tattooed body, who has convinced the townsfolk she’s their hero.
But Ashaf and Guideau know better. They live by one creed: “Wherever a witch goes, only curses and disasters follow.” They have scores to settle, and they won’t hesitate to remove anyone in their way, be it an angry mob or an army garrison. A dark fairytale set in a steampunk world of magic and monsters.
Ashaf : un homme à la voix douce, aux traits délicats, un cercueil attaché au dos et un entourage de corbeaux noirs. Guideau : une fille sauvage et violente avec de longs crocs et des yeux de bête. Ce couple inquiétant apparaît un jour dans une ville sous l'emprise d'une sorcière - une dirigeante dont la magie parcourt son corps tatoué, qui a convaincu les habitants de la ville qu'elle est leur héroïne.
Mais Ashaf et Guideau le savent mieux. Ils vivent selon un credo : « Partout où va une sorcière, seules des malédictions et des désastres la suivent. » Ils ont des comptes à régler et n’hésiteront pas à éliminer quiconque se mettra en travers de leur chemin, qu’il s’agisse d’une foule en colère ou d’une garnison militaire. Un conte de fées sombre se déroulant dans un monde steampunk de magie et de monstres.

This show has some good action and an interesting mythos. There was even a fun little Kaiju element towards the beginning of the episode, reminiscent of an army fighting Godzilla only to get flattened by a large scaly foot. The characters are a slightly cliched pairing of a hot head that solves everything by force and a more laid back, contemplative personality. The episode also had an interesting villain, someone bent on revenge, while understanding it isn't logical. All in all, the show has a promising start.

Dark and twisted sense of revenge. Psychotic cast. Great premise and well executed as it executes people.
