Samurai, Pretty Boys, and craze zombies. It's a no brainer. Still with only a bit of action at the beginning it becomes boring fast. Still it's setting up a much larger plot.

This pilot hints at some serious intrigue and combat for the Shinsengumi in future episodes. On the other hand, the girl looking for her father is not all that interesting, by herself. But taken together, the two plotlines could make for some pretty interesting stories.
