The goody two-shoes who's fated to become a demon lord is a deliciously ironic story premise, and the characters in the pilot seemed pretty cool, as well as the action sequences. But unfortunately, the plot was completely devoid of any subtlety. I'd still watch another episode, in hope of seeing some more interesting relationships and plotlines, since it's got to be tough to get everything in the pilot. | |||
