Not far from the town of Domina lives Shiloh, a boy who keeps hearing a voice in his dreams about a mission he must fulfill. But what mission could he be needed for remains unknown. Michael Eh?

The animation is top notch for a series. Most animes based on games lack the luster but they really threw their all into this series for a game as old as Legend of Mana franchise. While the first epiosde lacks background information ... no doubt Legend of Mana fans will fill in the blanks.

I never played the source game, although I do remember screenshots of it. It seemed like a fairly standard JRPG to me. The show definitely has the feel of a mid 90s JRPG, down to the artstyle (updated from 8bit, naturally) and the way the characters are living a simple village life to start. On the one hand, it is fairly slow, but on the other hand they do throw a surprising amount of worldbuilding at the viewer. I guess it might be worth watching the next episode.

i rellry kike the intro. vrerey interesting creacthers. mouth sswoded shut and yet she can still talk.  but all in all not bad At all.

Art style is a near dead ringer for the original Playstation 1 game, rereleased this year across all platforms in HD. Too be honest, as a setup episode i found it mostly uninteresting, aside from the first confrontation between the Onion Knight and the third character who moves the plot forward. The talking tree had less frames of animation than he did in the original game, lol. Dunno, not sure if I'll give the next episode a watch, to be honest.
