Joking aside the first episode has an understated pace similar to Victorian Romance Emma but with much more fantastical elements mixed in. The artistry for the characters isn't anything to write home about but the depiction of various kinds of food will definitely make your mouth water. If you can stomach slower paced series (though the preview for the 2nd episode does allude to some action) or want to watch a culinary series that doesn't focus on orgasmic overreactions give this a shot. | |||
