Urban legends... we all heard of them. The ghost hitchhiker, etc. Even Edo period of Feudal Japan had their share. However for a lost ghost story writer, he is about to get more than his share of material from a trio of unlikely passerbies, he is about to find there is more than truth to those old urban legends.
Episode 01 - Red Bean Washer
In the pouring rain, a writer and a stranger find shelter. For both it becomes a stop into the past ... for one it becomes a oneway stop to his own judgement.

Reviews
UltraRob
"Amazing style, cool story, great feel. A terrific new series, very atmospheric. Anime horror at it's very best."
Crazyleo
"Very dark and moody."
Kenneth
"A rather lyrical horror series. Quite atmospheric."
Ms Jadey
"Heavy animation influence from Spawn; the scariest part. Very good despite the North American influence."
Nekoko
"Ooh, very cool. I like the subtle creepiness."
humanbean
"A good take on a ghost story."
Pat
"W..e..i..r..d..!"
Pulcherius
"Not as scary to us (North Americans), but creepy, dark and moody."
Michael Eh?
"Unlike 'Boogiepop Phantom', the stories appear unconnected except for the poor writer character. Taking 'urban legends' of the day and changing them into a macabre setting is a stroke of genius of storytelling. I feel an empathy for all the characters, including the intended victim who gets his own in the end. This even goes to his dark executioners who 'means to the end' share good intent even to the dead."
