Every character is a cyclist each representative from a different Japanese prefecture, associated with a specific velodrome situated there. Each character's surname shares in turn the name of the city which is home to such velodrome.
Chaque personnage est un cycliste représentant chacun une préfecture japonaise différente, associé à un vélodrome spécifique qui y est situé. Le nom de famille de chaque personnage partage tour à tour le nom de la ville qui abrite ce vélodrome.

Typical sports anime with introducing everything but the actual plot of the show. It seemed as indecisive as the main character. I not following this show but others might find this show great.

The focus of this story could not be more intense if it were about a fight to save the universe from a spacetime-eating billygoat. Unfortunately, it's about riding bicycles -- sorry, I misspoke -- it's also about racing bicycles. And, of course, girls. (Being girls, not attracting them.) If I liked sports shows, I would probably love this one.

The CG animation isn't color matched that well to the regular animation, is stiff, and kinda looks like ass as a result. Art style has a generic look typical of the modern style. Eyes don't move independently of the face at all, so it has that stiff "Every Ubisoft Game ever" effect of everyone having a dead stare. Yowamushi Pedal, Long Riders!, and Minami High School Girls Cycling Club are all straight up better. Is this show seriously spending five minutes on a communal bath scene discussion in the first episode? The writing is okay, but this first episode feels budget as Hell.
