I am totally shocked that this studio has chosen to treat a serious subject like adventuring and dungeon crawling as a source of humour -- even more shocked than I am that I want to watch this character wander through lairs and dungeons in his invincible plot armour.

The eyes are a bit more widely spaced than is necessary, even for anime. Character art designs aren't bad. Has a lot of Toriko vibes in the opener and the narrator. Twist is, the hero doesn't want to be one of the Four Kings, and has a serious self-esteem issue with respect to their personal power. I haven't seen a proper bar brawl like that since Slayers.

A foolish and inept guy who constantly fails up through dumb luck in a fantasy setting. It has some good slapstick style comedy, but other than that its yet another JRPG styled anime. Worth a watch for a few laughs.

Okay, this is fine. The whole anime is burning down and this is fine. Absurd just doesn't quite cover this. This season's fun show.
