Akina, Hime, Kotoha, and Ao are four members of the Hiizumi Seikatsu Soudan Jimusho (Hiizumi's Everyday-life Consultation Office), which, in addition to helping kindergarteners deal with tough times, strives to preserve the peace of their little town, Sakurashin, by hunting down the troublemakers who dare threaten it.

Hime is a superheroine. Ao can read minds. Kotoha can conjure up anything with the right word. And Akina…well, he's just a regular guy, surrounded by three supergirls! Together, they protect the town of Sakurashin. But that's not easy, as the town faces demon dogs and other supernatural threats!

I must say the description doesn't give this series justice. The town is refuge for youkia who over the centuries have gravitated to the town.  The lone human is heir to clan capable of sending youkia back to the dimension they come from thus the most important person in policing at town whose half of it's population are youkai. It is nice that this group of human, dragon incarnate, mind reader, word user and oni work together in unique collective way of keeping the peace and avoiding the usual superpowered teen angst.  With overtones of upcoming conflict, I'll be following this series a lot closer now.
