Rocket girls
A high school girl Morita Yukari visits Axia of the Solomon Islands in order to look for her father who became lost during his honeymoon trip. It is also the home of SSA, the Japanese assisted Space program in Solomon Islands. With a track record of rocket boosters failing the government of Solomon Islands gives the SSA team until the end of fiscal year before shutting down. The only hope is to try the more stable rocket booter but when their only astronaut going suddenly AWOL, they approach Morita Yukari for the job that a monkey could do in exchange for finding her father.

an entertaining dramatic comedy that successfully avoids traditional anime visual cliches.

A first episode I haven't previewed before showing but I have peeked at later episodes. Somewhat slow at first but adds the set of characters in a natural way. The characters act like real people. Timely show with the real new space race now underway.
