A young man who had surely died in an accident, was reborn in another world as a baby! After that, he was picked up by the patriot hero "Sage" Merlin Wolford and was given the name Shin. He was raised as a grandson by Merlin and soaked up Merlin's teachings earning him some shocking power however, when he became 15 his grandfather Merlin said: "I forgot to teach him common sense"!

It's my favorite Isekai right now. The MC is the most overpowered dumb ass and its actually very wholesome at times. I enjoy all the characters and the world building, episodes have excellent pacing as well.

So, yeah, it's cliched. When the premise isn't original, it just raises the bar for everything else. The trouble is, the pilot doesn't really introduce the principal setting or the antagonists, so I can't tell if it's going to be an adventure series, which would be good, or a monster-of-the-week series, which would be OK, or a magic high school series, which would be annoying.

Kind of a long setup of a magic school harem anime.... but it works

Yet another Isekai offering. It was cliched, it was fairly generic in storyline and characters, a typical medieval style setting, a hero who can defeat any opponent with ease. But at least it had some funny points (cliched as well, naturally). All things considered this was a paint-by-numbers offering, but I suppose it's worth watching.
