Compared to Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou, this show vastly outshines it. The characters and animation are excellent. The story line of finding a baby in the woods is cliche, doesn't seem plausible but it works in this case. I'm finding myself wanting to see more episodes. Only Sousou no Frieren out shines this show.

Letting your kids become unsupervised adventurers at age 12. Like Pokemon, but with higher stakes :-p. Background and character art has a rough sketchbook style of outlining that's kinda nice. Speaking extras are a bit plain in the face. Colors are vibrant.

This show has a fairly slow start to it. A lot of character development and worldbuilding. However, if you can manage to tough through that, there is some charm to it. The art is not all that impressive, and it is set in a fairly typical fantasy setting, but there is some humour to it and some decent character moments. I have seen a couple of the later episodes, and it does pick up as you watch more episodes.
