"Nicely animated, set in Meiji era Yokohama. Main characters somewhat uniquely designed. This first episode introduces the background story. Looks interesting."
Doug
"The background of a critical transition in Japanese history gives the story an interesting underlying tension and the visual style and action are fun to watch but the subtitles were hard to read and I lost track of who was doing what to whom."
Varheter
"Interesting period anime. Has great potential. If you like Samurai7, this is one you should watch."
K.K.
"It's a good show. A little confusing but it has good story."
humanbean
"i can't really comment. i couldn't read the subtitles. visually interesting tho."
Tyler Durden
"To much exposition, not enough sword fighting. The whole magic thing needs explanation. Interesting but not my style."
Michael Eh?
"The subtitles by PNU-Shinsen was the only downfall of a other excellent show. Still it has some elements of Tenpou Ibun Ayakashi Ayashi as men search for the lost head (of household or clan) who we assume is main character with a power to kill demons with his very sword. The theatre troop out for revenge is an interesting plot line as is the fall of the Shoganate itself."
