In 2036, after radioactive contamination from a nuclear accident has put Tokyo under a blockade. Three high school girls have been sent to this dead city. Thanks to genetic engineering, the three girls have been impervious to radioactivity since birth. They form a special forces unit, codenamed Coppelion, in the 3rd Division of Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force.

I've waited for a long time for this prophetic manga to become an anime and wasn't disappointed. Given the fact that the author was right on the events we face now. I look forward to see how they develop the story. The background detail is SO realistic which is beautiful as it is deadly being highly radioactive. The only let down is at times the character animation drops below the quality of background. Snapping me out of the story.

This one definitely needs more than a single episode to form a proper opinion on. The animations is generally very well laid out and fluid though it still hits the uncanny valley pretty often.

VERY' good backgrounds art. bit of retro feel too. so far, I'm liking what I see.

I generally find anime focused on adolescents tiresome, but watching a bunch of girls wander around a post-apocalyptic wasteland in freshly pressed miniskirts is deliciously incongruous. There's also a lot of dramatic potential in the premise, so I'd like to see one or two more episodes, at least.
