More than I expected of this anime. The scenery charming, the characters not over powering but interesting. The unique of keeping the story going as the ending credits rolled made this first episode a wonderful romance story.

Not a lot of expression in the faces for the male romantic interests. kind of have that straight-ahead, dead-eyed stare. Writing is nice. Don't care at all about the sports sub-plot. Dude doesn't beat around the bush; he goes for it on the first episode and declares his love. A pleasant change.

Generally, I can stand slice-of-life romances if I find the characters interesting. But that didn't happen this time.
