On the day the Xianglong (Shanron or Soaring Dragon) Crisis occurred in 2031, Leon Lau was right in the middle of the unfolding events. The Quantum Reactor, a next generation energy device developed to replace dwindling environmental resources, exploded and unleashed an unknown energy. As a result, the global environment changed overnight. Living things (besides humans) and machines each underwent their own unique evolution, and the B.R.A.I. (Biological Revolutionary of Accelerated Intelligence) entity in particular evolved and came into being. As a result, humanity was driven to the brink of extinction. Humans fight the B.R.A.I with M.O.E.V. (Multi-purpose Organic Evolution Vehicle) variable units.
Seven years after the Xianglong Crisis, Leon was living in the wilderness on the edge of the "absolute defense city" Neo Xianglong. Living with Chloe Lau under a "family pact," he conducted his own research to counter the B.R.A.I. The awkward Leon and the busybody Chloe. They live day-by-day as if to forget the past for the moment. However, threats unrelentingly draw near.

Le jour où la crise de Xianglong (Shanron ou Dragon Volant) a eu lieu en 2031, Leon Lau était au beau milieu des événements en cours. Le réacteur Quantum, un dispositif énergétique de nouvelle génération développé pour remplacer les ressources environnementales en déclin, a explosé et libéré une énergie inconnue. Vivant avec Chloe Lau dans le cadre d'un «pacte de famille», il mena ses propres recherches pour contrer le B.R.A.I. Le Léon maladroit et l'occupant Chloé. Ils vivent au jour le jour comme pour oublier le passé pour le moment. Cependant, les menaces se rapprochent inexorablement.

Long setup for world history only to hang up to cliff hanger at the end.

This is a fairly run-of-the-mill action-mecha show from what i can see. We didn't really see enough of the characters to get to understand much of them, the first episode was mostly one big fight scene. The action here didn't really catch my attention too much, but I guess I'd be willing to go three episode rule on this one to see where they are going with this.
