I'm just going to lay this straight. No snarking, no sarcasm, no hyperbole. Yuri Kuma Arashi and Maria the Virgin Witch were probably the best shows of the Winter 2015 season. While Death Parade and Tokyo Ghoul √A had episodic bursts here and there that may have peaked over the former two shows on occasion only Yurikuma and Maria were able to maintain consistently high quality stretches in both artistic and directorial quality throughout their runs, making them my easy choices for my favourites for the season. | |||
