i was GOING to say it defies description.  but someone made a comparison; Revolutionary Girl Utena with girl-eating bears.

It's the best yuri furry disguised as a non-furry yuri that I've seen in the last half hour.  Lots of talking, especially talking about eating, especially eating humans, but not much actual eating -- not even eating humans.  And now I'm hungry.

Taking it's art license from Revolutionary Girl Utena, it's definitely different... but then Utena made sense.  Chaotic at best. Creepy for the most part. Like tripping out with the drugs without the high.

I'm just going to lay this straight. No snarking, no sarcasm, no hyperbole. Yuri Kuma Arashi and Maria the Virgin Witch were probably the best shows of the Winter 2015 season. While Death Parade and Tokyo Ghoul √A had episodic bursts here and there that may have peaked over the former two shows on occasion only Yurikuma and Maria were able to maintain consistently high quality stretches in both artistic and directorial quality throughout their runs, making them my easy choices for my favourites for the season.
Besides, who can resist those damned dancing bears? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaE1ksPHheo

Yuri Kuma Arashi

Kureha, a "transparent" high school girl who is plain and is barely noticed by others. Seemingly every night, she has a "dream about a bear and transparent storm." In this dream, her mysterious classmate Ginko Yurishiro appears in the form of a bear.

Taking it's art license from Revolutionary Girl Utena, it's definitely different... but then Utena made sense. Chaotic at best. Creepy for the most part. Like tripping out with the drugs without the high.
