			This is certainly Japan's favourite emo motormouth -- not to the life, but to the animation. The art style is pretty basic 2d, which might disappoint some, but the title character is certainly the true Anne with an 'e' (as far as I recall the original version, anyway).

			Canadian classic as anime. Japan loves Anne. At times like this, we need a show like this to mind us of being Canadian. It was fine as a show though I was expecting it to be slightly different take.

			I don't remember the story well enough to know how this stacks up as an adaptation, but on its own, this is a fun show.
			Anne is very spirited and fanciful, with an infectious curiosity sure to melt the frigid heart of her adoptive mother.
			All in all, its a fun show, if you like slower paced slice of life.
