Obviously, the screenplay writer for this assumes the intended audience has already read the manga. This leads to the episode's weakness for those like us who've not. Later episodes deals with a character, Eve, which we only see one scene briefly in this episode. In spite of incoherent first episode, the rest of the series so far gets better."
